However tempting, before going out and purchasing that adorable little puppy in the store window, it would be wise to do some research. A dog is a long-term commitment. They require a great deal of attention and care throughout all the stages of their lives. If you don’t have the time, energy and finances to properly care for a dog, then it might be best to reconsider.
